Sunday Gym

Today I've spent my morning with the welcome family in a leisure area from YMCA (http://www.ymcaywca.mb.ca). A little bit of fat burning on a bycicle and a refreshment in the indoor swimming pool - that make me feel happy.

Later I tried to solve some small problems on the computer of my welcome family. We had a lot of fun with a tool of Google --> Google Earth (http://earth.google.com). There you can see satellite images of the whole world, some city pictures are in such a high resolution that you can recognize cars on the street.

Oh, I nearly forgot, I've received my trunk (the second one) yesterday morning. So I have now all the clothes etc. I've taken with me, even the three bottles of wine were in :)

Finally, first pictures of my departure are now online (visit the photo gallery) ...

Hi Alain

Nice to hear every things all right! Your mom and dad make a bit a sad impression... understandable :-) They're gonna miss you! I'm glad you already found an appartement - hey that's really great!!! Congratulation!

We're gonna have Marcels employees from Credit Suisse this afternoon for dinner - so I'll have a lot to do till then. Finally the sun is shining again here in Switzerland - a bit of summer before the autumns comes...

Hugs, Christine

Hi ALain!

It's great that you're so well! The habitation place you've found sounds fantastic and I'm very happy you found such a good one. I'm looking forward to see some pictures from it. I read that you have a lot of fun with your family and that they are very nice to you. That's really great.
So, I still have to learn a lot, then as you perhaps know, I have to do three further exams next week.
I wish you some marvellous days until you have to visit school and that you move well into your new room!

Greetings, Reto

p.s. You see that even I try to write in english, so take this with honour!! :-)

Hey there,

I was just bored going through peoples blogs and stumbled upon yours (was searching for University of Manitoba).
Are you going to the University of Manitoba? I assume so because you say you are an exchange student.

Anyways, I currently go to the U of M, currently in my last year. You seem like a cool person, so if you want
someone to show you around the university/winnipeg/etc, gimme a shout. You can e-mail me at mark@deepbluesky.net.
