My (our) first cake - mmmhhh!!!

On Monday after my trip to the park, I went to the grocery store and I bought some ingredients for baking. On Tuesday I had my first "Writing Essay" Class, I hope I can improve my writing skills that way!

After my classes we decided (together with one of my roommates) to make a cake (for the birthday of another roommate), so I took my cookbook - the famous "Tiptopf"(a swiss cookbook that everybody in Switzerland knows from school), and we decided to bake a chocolate cake. Together with my assistant *smile* we studied the bake recipe (I had to translate it in English) and after about 1 hour we had done a great cake - it tastes super! I'm haughty ("stolz"), FINE SWISS BAKING ARTS in CANADA ;) Next time I will try a carrot cake, unfortunately I can't find hazelnuts so I have to improvise.
